Mott Hunting

Pheasant Hunting

North Dakota PheasantsHettinger county has long been recognized for its excellent hunting. We live in the center of what is arguably the best pheasant hunting in the United States. Contrary to rumor, there is plenty of open hunting land available to anyone who wants to hunt.

Many local farmers cultivate habitat on their land for pheasant and they allow hunters access for a fee. Be advised that accommodations are at a premium during the opening of the various hunting seasons.

Your stay will be more pleasant and hassle free if you have a place to stay arranged before you leave home. The towns of Hettinger county are filled with good, friendly people.

Sportsmen are always welcome here and we hope your time with us is pleasant and rewarding.

Deer & Antelope Hunting

Deer hunting is always good in Hettinger county along with some nice size antelope.
